From “Sin City” into Saint City. With style and grace, we occupied Las Vegas Blvd. with 65+ people and 600 loVebags filled with so much love and potency.
One highlight that resonated in me was when I walked by a guy sitting on his sleeping bag with a big smile on his face because of a loVebag he received. The first thing he said to me was, “Can I offer you an apple or a banana?” A man without a roof over his head, and to many may appear to have nothing was content, fulfilled and satisfied simply because his focus wasn’t on what he didn’t have but instead on what he did have. He then proceeded and said, “My cup runneth over. I am overwhelmed with LOVE most of all!”
For those who are living in the streets, how can they believe if they do not see? How can they hear if no one is telling them that they believe in them? # Are you willing to sacrifice your comfort for someone else’s healing? We’re not called to hide from trouble. We’re called to help others through it.
An inwardly culture is a dying culture. As leaders in our community, we need to think in global terms. It’s critical that we take a stand to raise up a selfless generation. Let’s step out of our comfort zone. Let’s be disruptive. Let’s be a message to the mass.
Let’s get to the heart of the matter. Let’s use everything we have and work together to bring transformation into the world. If we want to see change and facilitate growth, we have to be intentional about it. # The results from yesterday’s outreach are nothing short of miraculous.
Thank you once again for everyone’s sacrifice and leadership. Your life is characterized by the altruistic spirit that you all continually illustrate through your actions.
I am honored. I am blessed. And I am thankful to God everyday that I have been given the opportunity to DO life with you on all spectrums.
